The Ending of the Sopranos

I finally saw the final season of the Sopranos, culminating today with the final episode. All the references to the "ambiguous ending" seem ludicrous now. It wasn't ambiguous at all. The series was about Tony, and when Tony died, the screen went blank. Without Tony, nothing existed in the narrative - nothing but the memory of onion rings hovering in the air. Brilliant ending.
